Ever wanted to host your favorite band while their on tour? Do you rush to the merch table when the opener says they need a place to stay only to find out you're the third offer. We're working to eliminate tour housing insecurity by asking the community that already wants to help, to make themselves easier for artists to find.
We're currently taking applicants to create our Crash Pad Registry across the United States. Our registry consists of only approved housing in towns and cities across the USA at the moment, but with time we hope to create an international resource.
Approved housing means we here at Groupie. feel comfortable recommending this home for artist short-term residency. These Crash Pads must meet our basic standards of habitation at Groupie including but not limited to; access to a bathroom at all times, a minimum of one blanket and one pillow per guest, free and available parking, and access to basic food and drink needs (bread, water, coffee and the likes). In addition, only approved artists are able the access this registry - and once accessed a host must approve the artist's stay request before the exact address is sent.
Our job with vvy is to compile the best and safest information before passing it off to our artists and Crash Pads who can feel safe in the knowledge that we've done our job.
If you would like to be added as a host to our registry, or if you're an artist(s) looking to stay somewhere while on tour for free please fill out our form located here.
Our community is stronger when we all work together to lift each other up, thank you for wanting to do your part.
